Project Lead

Job Summary

The Project Lead will be responsible for assisting in planning and execution of custom smart home technology projects.  Duties include planning, designing, executing, and monitoring every aspect of a specific project.

Primary Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Work directly with leadership and clients to identify project requirements, timelines, and cost to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track project progress and communicate status to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate documentation and acquiring appropriate change approval.
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate with other contractors
  • Monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery, within scope and budget.
  • Task delegation, mentor less experienced team members, and work alongside team members to complete a project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Person who will succeed in this job will have:

  • Proven work experience in project management/lead position
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and drive to exceed the expectations and needs of our clients
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

 Additional Details:

  • May be required to walk/sit/stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • May be required to work unpredictable hours in emergencies and oncall hours
  • Some travel required both in Michigan and out of state
