Full-Time | Based in Michigan | Occasional Travel Required 

Do you thrive in dynamic environments, managing high-end AV projects from blueprint to ribbon-cutting?

At MiHome Systems, we design and install cutting-edge audiovisual, lighting, shading, and surveillance systems for some of Michigan’s most exciting custom residential spaces. We’re not looking for someone to “oversee” installations. We’re looking for a proactive project leader who gets the job done right, on time, and with clients singing our praises.

What You’ll Do

You’ll own the lifecycle of complex AV installation projects—from pre-construction planning to final walkthrough. That includes:

  • Scoping out projects through site visits and client meetings
  • Building and managing realistic timelines, budgets, and resource plans
  • Leading on-site install teams and subcontractors to ensure quality execution
  • Being the calm, knowledgeable point of contact for clients, vendors, and GCs
  • Problem-solving in real-time, troubleshooting systems and coordinating quick fixes
  • Making sure the team has dressed every cable, every system works, and the client is thrilled 

What Success Looks Like
In your first 6 months, you’ll have:

  • Delivered AV projects on time and within budget
  • Built trust with our field techs and external partners
  • Created smoother communication flows with field techs and clients
  • Earned positive feedback from our clients and internal team

We’d Love to Meet Someone Who:  

  • Has 3-5 years of experience managing AV or electrical systems projects
  • Understands AV systems—audio, video, lighting control, surveillance, and smart home tech
  • Can lead a team in the field without needing direct oversight
  • Communicates clearly, whether you’re updating a client or managing a vendor delay
  • Thrives on planning ahead, but stays flexible when surprises pop up
  • Is comfortable with construction sites, technical documents, and customer-facing communication
